AFTERcare
- Aftercare is mandatory for successful results of your eyebrow microblading. Following careful instructions will give you the best possible retention, promote good healing and prevent infection.

first 2 days
- 6-8 hours after the procedure gently wash your eyebrows with a cotton pad moistened with distilled water ONLY. Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment. Distilled water can be purchased at any pharmacy. You can also boil filtered tap water and let it cool before using. Repeat 2 more times, 6-8 hours apart, for a total of 3 times.

FIRST 10 DAYS
- Apply the aftercare ointment daily with a clean Q-tip or a clean finger just before taking your shower, halfway through the day if needed, and about an hour before bed. Do not let your eyebrows dry out. Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching your eyebrows to avoid infection and do not "double-dip" the same side of the Q-tip in the ointment.
- Avoid getting your eyebrows wet, excessive sweating (saunas, steam rooms, intense workouts), exposure to chlorine and sleeping on your face in the first 10 days. - Do not apply any cleansers, creams, oils or makeup on your eyebrows during the first 10 days of healing. Only the aftercare ointment. If you must use makeup, wipe off or spray your makeup with rubbing alcohol before and after use to prevent infection. - In extreme situation when you have to wash your eyebrows, use a cotton pad moistened with distilled water and finish off with the aftercare ointment. - Your eyebrows might scab. Do not pick the scabs. Even if it looks like it’s almost falling off, if you pick it you will grab the neighboring pigment with it. Apply a tiny bit of aftercare ointment on the scabbing area to keep it in place until it comes off naturally. |
10 DAYS+
- In the first few days after the procedure your eyebrows will look a bit darker. That is normal. Color will fade anywhere from 10% to 50% after the initial treatment. The lines may look blurry after the initial healing phase and will sharpen in the next couple of weeks. It is normal for one eyebrow to fade more than the other, or for a part of an eyebrow to fade more than other parts. The true color will surface in about 6 weeks, as the skin goes through its natural healing process. The touch up cannot, under any circumstances, be performed before that 6-week mark.
- Avoid any products that contain AHA’s, Retinol-A, glycolic, lactic acids or similar lightening or peeling ingredients on your eyebrows. These products will fade the pigment even if eyebrows look healed. - UV light will fade your eyebrows. Apply sunscreen on your eyebrows to protect them from the sun and tanning beds after the initial 10 days of healing. |
"Geneva is amazing! She made sure I was as comfortable as can be, and her attention to detail has made my eyebrows look so beautiful. I made sure to follow the home care she gave me- and now my eyebrows are semi-perminantly fuller then ever :)!! Best purchase of 2017 so far!!" - KIRI |
