how to prepare for your microblading appointment:
2 weeks before
- Do not pluck, tint, wax, thread your eyebrows.
- Avoid exposure to UV light, both from sun and tanning beds. - Avoid Retin-A, AHA, glycolic & lactic acids, Botox and chemical peels above your eyes. |

the day of
- As you will need to keep your eyebrows away from water as best as you can during the first 10 days of healing, we recommend you wash your hair the night before or the day of the appointment. If you need to wash your hair during the healing process, apply a thicker layer of aftercare ointment beforehand and try to keep your eyebrows away from water. Some of our clients have gone as far as to use snorkeling goggles or baby visors to keep their eyebrows dry. :P
- Do not exercise. - Do not consume caffeine, energy drinks or fat burners. Your skin will be more sensitive and it will be more difficult for you to stay still. You want to be as relaxed as possible during the procedure. - You can do your makeup as usual. We will be taking photos that will be posted on our website and social media. Most clients bring some of their makeup with them to freshen up prior to taking "before" and "after" photos. - Wear something comfortable. The appointment is about 2.5 hours long, and you will be lying down on your back most of the time. |
right after
- You may experience redness, blanching or sensitivity of the skin around the eyebrows for an hour or so after the procedure. Most clients resume regular activities immediately after the appointment.

"Loved it!! My experience was definitely exciting! Never got any thing done before on my face! At first I was bit scared because I didn't know how it's going to turn out like! But the Geneva definitely made me feel at ease through out the whole service. She explained the procedure intelligibly. :) And friendly to her customers! I will definitely come back! " - CHRISSY |
